The Loblollies

Raleigh-area teenage bluegrass band The Loblollies–Alanabeth Duncan, August Sanchez Dunn, Hattie Casper, Jorja Cornwell, Wasswa Myers, and Isabelle Parker–met through the monthly youth jams and weeklong summer camps offered by PineCone, the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music.

Mentored by local musicians Jef Walter and Sam Stage, The Loblollies played venues large and small across North Carolina from 2021-2025, and launched the careers of some of the area’s top young acoustic musicians!
